Its super rough and I severely messed up the back wheel and fender, but I figured its car related so why not share.

Messed up or not, it's still beautiful. :)

Thanks! I appreciate it.
I think I'm going to try to find some of the car-related art I've done over the last two years and post it up eventually... Good think I keep my external hard drives organize /sarcasm

I don't know why but I've never been very good at sketching cars. I can draw people and landscapes and other things but it takes a lot of concentration for me to draw cars.

Please do! We're teaching our son how to draw cars on a computer using a digital drawing tablet. He's still struggling to draw a picture of a Volvo P1800 in 3D. Do you draw cars on paper or on a computer?

It took me a lot of doodling to be able to draw a 3/4 view that actually looked anything like a car, but I struggle pretty badly when it comes to drawing people. Ahaha. Unfortunately with classes this semester I haven't had a whole lot of time to keep drawing and messing around with my camera. I'm hoping to pick them both back up this summer.

Thanks! I absolutely love the way the old school beetles look with a nice wooden roof rack. I almost feel like a nice cruiser looks incomplete without one, which is weird because I usually don't like non-functional roof racks.

Oh, wow. That sounds like a blast. I've only ever drawn on paper, but I would love to try out a tablet. A kid in my AP studio art class last year was a friggin wizard on those things. It was unbelievable.

I really wanted a nice wooden roof rack on the 2002, and even found a guy who fabricated some of the coolest wooden racks I've ever seen. Unfortunately, it would make the sunroof useless, and I love the sunroof.

That's awesome.
I'd hate to cover up the sunroof though, Love those things.

What's AP? We're far from wizards with our Wacom tablets. Digital drawing tablets have a lot more bells and whistles to learn than your typical art media. Not to mention learning how to use it in Photoshop.

It stands for Advance Placement, but for that class just meant I had taken a bunch of art classes through middle and high school. I didn't make it there with my talent, unlike the kid I mentioned above. Ahaha. I want to post some of his art to amaze you, because its literally unbelievable, but I don't have his permission and I'd feel a little weird about that. I would love to try one out though. 3D drawing sounds awesome.

Oh ah, thank you for clearing that up. Now is a good time to buy a digital drawing tablet because a lot of artists are going digital. Wacom Bamboo Capture is a good one to start with (it has fewer bells and whistles and it's good for quick doodles).
Maybe I've been using the wrong word. I meant 3D as in drawings that have more perspective than flat, not realistic with highlights and shadows. Our son hasn't started his first year of school, hah.
